Be Brave/ Sketch 306 by Sarah King

Good morning!!
Sarah here this morning to share my take on sketch #30

I started out by choosing a photo, this one is of my sons wrist band from the hospital. Unfortunately I have multiple pictures of him in the hospital and he doesn't really like them shown around, every once in a while I will scrap on and share it, but I thought this way he wouldn't mind so much.

I decided I wanted to flip the layout so that it was more on the heavy side towards the bottom, then I pulled out my Wonder collection by Crate paper and started to cut out my rectangles to place down on my layout.

I have had this collection sitting in my scrappy room for-EVER! My boys have got to that stage where when they see me pull my camera out, they start the oh mom! lol So I haven't had to many to scrap lately, with them hiding from my camera and all lol. But I loved the fact that instead of stars all over my page I could use that cute little rainy cloud, since we were in the hospital I thought it went well and looked cute!

I added my picture to the center rectangle like it was shone in the sketch and then embellished more. I had fun with this sketch and I hope you do too!!

We would love for you to play along and make sure to tag us on Instagram so we can see your great creations!!

I Goy Tou Babe - Sketch #306 by Caroli Schulz

Hello peps! How are you? Caroli here and today I want to share my take of sketch #306, which I absolutely adore because of its grid design:

This is my take:

As I said, I'm crazy about anything grid design, so this sketch was perfect for me. I used cute Cream & Sugar collection by Doodlebug Design and this pic of my kids having a buble bath together last summer. They have such a great relationship and love each other to bits, that makes me so happy as a mom :)

Layout by Nicole Doiron - Sketch #306

Hello!  Nicole here, and it's my turn to showcase my take on sketch #306!

It's a bittersweet post as it's my last post on the Creative Scrappers blog
as my term on the DT is up.  What a wonderful time I've had creating
with Kristine's fabulous sketches and alongside an amazing group of ladies!

Here's a reminder of sketch #306:

... and here is my take:

I wanted to go bright and happy for this layout, in celebration of Spring
which is finally here, and which means that Summer is just around the corner!

Using a combination of ScrapBerry's Tropics and Mediterranean Dreams collections,
I was able to create a very fun 'citrus-y layout to go along with this picture of me
taken 12 years ago on an orange/grapefruit-picking excursion in Orlando, Florida.

I found that the rectangle shapes on the sketch allowed me to play
with different patterned papers and were perfect to do some handmade stitching.

Life is good & sweet, indeed!

I hope I have inspired you to take part in the May challenge
and share with us your take on Creative Scrappers' sketch #306!

Remember to join Creative Scrappers on Instagram @CreativeScrappers
